BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCiL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:

da;,T of April., 1949, the folloYri.ng appropriations are hereby made out of the revenues of
the City of Paris of the respective auwunts and for the respective purposes hereinafter
stated.
There is hereby set aside and appropriated for the purpose of payirg fixed charges and
liauil.ities of the City of Paris falling due during the year, the sum of $ 567, 522•15,
which is to be applied to the payment of interest and creating of a si,nking fund with
which-to pay at maturity the outstandinc,,, bonded indebtedness of the Citv of Paris as

Section 2Q No warrant shall be issued ior the payment of ar~y city moneys, nar stiall
the Treasurer pay any warrant drawn,, except in payment of items, and for purposes
authorized and provided in Section "lf' hereof, and no liabilitv shall be incurred
against the city under this ordinance after the 30th day of April, 1949. AnY sums
remaining une~ended after the said 30th day of April, 1949, shall revert to and be-
come part of the Current Fund of the City.
Section 3. The City Secretar5 is i.nstructed to furnish the Treasurer with a copy of
this Ordinance, and the Treasurer is instructed to open and keep prouer accounts with
the different departrnents provided for in Section nltt hereof, to insure the disburser:lent
of the funds in accordance with this Ordinance.
The fact that the time has arrived for raaking up the Budget for the Cu.rrent
Fiscal Year, 1948-49, crea'ues a public emergency requiring that the Charter provisions
and rules prohibiting the passaUe of an ordinance at the same meeting at vihich it is
introduced, and requirino it to be submitted to a Committee be suspended an d the same
is accordingly done, and this Ordinance shall take effect f roin and after its passage.
