WHER-a.A3, the City Manager of the t.%ity of Paris has sub-
mitted to the oitv C%ouncil a proposed budget of the revenues of
said City and the expenses of conducting the affairs thereof
and proviuing a complete financial plan for th° ensuinG_,fiscal
year, beginning July 1, 1949 and endin~ dtxna 30, 1950, and
which said proposed budget has been compiled from detailed
information obtained from the several depart^lents, divisions
and offices of the City; and
;the uity Jouncil has raceived said Uity
IvZanager's proposed budget, a copy of which propo5ed budget
and all sup~~-orting schedules have been filed with the City
Clerk of the jity of Paris, and is of the opinion that the
same should be approved and adopted and that a public hearing
bef ore the Gity Council has been provided f or as requirad by
Artiele V, Section 50, of the (:harter of the ~ity of Faris,

Section 1. That the proposed budget of the revenues
oP the City of Paris and the exDenses of conducting the affairs
thereof, providing a coraplete financial rlan for the ensuin,~y
fiscal year beginning july 1, 1949, and ending June 30, 1950,
as submitted to the ~;ity Council by the ~~itur aIana^;er of said
City, be, and the same is in all thiiigs adopted and approved
as the budget of all of the current expenses as well as the
fixed charges aoainst said City for tha fiscal year beginning
July 1, 1949, and end ing J une 30, 1950.
Section 2. That the sum oP $465,018.16 is hereby
appropriated out oP the general fund for the payment of
