2210 RES COP IS ELIGIBLE TO MAKE APPLICATION FOR FUNDS FOR COMM DEV BLOCK GRANT PROJECTSRESQLUTION NO. 2210
WHEREAS, the City of Paris is eligible to make applica-
tion for funds for Community Development Block Grant projects,
which are funded by the Housing and Community Development
Act of 1974; and,
ti9HEREAS, the City of Paris has numerous community
development projects for which local funds have not been
available; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY Z'HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, AS FOLLOWS:
1• That an application be made for funds for
Community Development Block Grant Projects in
the amount of $800,000.00.
2. That, H. C. Greene, Acting City Manager, and
any successor City Nlanager, be, and they are
hereby authorized and directed to execute and
deliver on behalf of the City of Paris the
necessary appli.cations, communications,
instruments, assurances and documents neces-
sary for the completion of said projects.
3• That Joe N. McCollum, Director of Community
Development, be, and he is hereby appointed
Project Director for Community Development
Block Grant projects.
