2218 RES CITY COUNCIL WITH COOPERATION WITH PARIS INDUSTRIAL FOUNDATION IS EXTENDING WATER AND SEWER UTILITY SERVICES TO KIMBERLY CLARKRESOLUTION N0. 2218
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, in
cooperation with the Paris Industrial Foundation is extend-
ing water and sewer utility services to Kimberly-Clark
Corporation plant site on FM 137 South of Loop 286 S. W.;
and,
WHEREAS, as a part af said sewer utility extension it
is necessary to cross the Missouri Pacific's right of way at
Mile Past 91.47, Engineer's Chainage Station 4829+87, Lamar
County, Texas, requiring a pipe line license from said
railroad; and,
WHEREAS, the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company makes a
charge of Five Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($500.00) for the
issuance of such license the form of which is attached
hereto as Exhibit "A"; an.d,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest to the City of
Paris that such license be executed by the City of Paris and
that said fee be paid; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, Joe Graham, be
and is tiereby authorized and directed to execute saici pipe
line license with Missouri Pacific Railroad Company in the
form of Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the pipe line license fee
of Five Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($500.00) be, by the
Director of Fir.ance, H. C. Greene, transmitted to Missouri
Pacific Railroad Company.
