83-009 RES ALLEY BEGINNING APPROX 154.3 FEET SOUTH OF SOUTH BOUNDARY LINE OF KAUFMAN STRESOLUTION NQ. 2443 $~5-pOq
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the
City Council of the City of Paris ttiat there is an alley,
beginning approximately 154.3 feet South of the South
boundary line of Kaufman Street and running South for
approxirnately 70 feet, sometimes referred to as 4th Street
S. E. and sometimes referred to as an alley; and,
WHEREAS, it tias been called to the attention of the
City Council that the alley is not desired by the property
owner adjacent to said alley, but that said alley is of use
and r.ecessary to the City of Paris and its citizens for
utility easement purposes; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE :CT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL UF THE CITY OF
PARIS, that the Mayor of the City of Paris, Joe Graham, be,
and he is hereby authorized to execute a quit claim deed to
the alley being closed to the adjacent oi,mers on either side
af said a11ey, it appearing that First Baptist Church is the
sole and only property owner adjacent to said alley;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Yaris retain a
utility easement in the area to be described in the above
described quit clain deeds.
