2. That David H. Doty, City Manager of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and is hereby designated certifying
representative and he is hereby authorized and directed, on
behalf of the City of Paris to execute and file all applica-
tions, assurances and contracts necessary to make the City
of Paris eligible to participate in said project;
3, That Joe McCollum, Director of Community Develop-
ment, be, and he is hereby designated Project Director and

4, That David H. Doty, City Manager of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed in the event the City of Paris is selected to
participate in the Main Street Project to select an employee
designated as Main Street Project Manager, to operate within
the funding provided in the budget for the year beginning
Gctober 1, 1983.
5, That the City Manager be designated to coordinate
the program activities.
