83-030 RES CITY COUNCIL FROM TIME TO TIME WILL AUTHORIZE WATER SERVICE TO CITIZENS OF LAMAR COUNTYRESOLUTION N0. 83-030
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris,
Texas, will from time to time authorize water service to
citizens of Lamar County to be delivered outside the city
limits of the City of Paris;
WHEREAS, the City Council shall from time to time fix
the rate at which such water customers shall be served; and,
WHEREAS, the desire to serve such customers as soon as
possible make it appropriate that the City Council authorize
the Director of Finance, H. C. Greene, to enter into con-
tracts with such customers in accordance with the currently
established City policy without further direction or
authority; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, that, H. C. Greene, Director of Finance of the City
of Paris be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to
enter into water service contracts to deliver water outside
the city limits of the City of Paris in accordance with
policy established by the City Council of the City of Paris.
