83-055 RES LAWS OF STATE OF TX AND CHARTER OF COP IMPOSE DUTIES UPON AND PROVIDE FOR OFFICE OF CITY ENGINEERP.ESOLUTION N0. $3-055
WHEREAS, the laws of the State of Texas and the Charter
of the City of Paris impose duties upon and provide for the
office of City Engineer; and,
WHEREAS, such office became vacant upon the resignation
of Rick Conner and has been filled by Iraterim City Engineer,
Richard Babb; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Paris,
David H. Doty, has appointed Thomas R. Pine as City Engineer
and such appointment is before the City Council of the City
of Paris for approval; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, that the appointment of Thomas R. Pine as City
Engineer is approved.
