83-063 RES CITY COUNCIL REQUESTED AID AND COOPERATION OF STATE DEPT OF HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TO ACCOMPLISH PROJECTSRESOLU'1'lUN P1O. 83-063
GJHEREAS, the City Council of the City ot Yaris has
requested the aid and cooperation of the State Department of
Highways and Public Transportation to accomplish the
following projects:
(a) Reconstruction on lst Street N. W. and Santa
Fe Street from Graham Street North to North Main Street
a distance of approximately 0.6 miles;
(b) Widening and signalization at the inter-
section of U. S. Highway Business Route with Farm to
Market Road /y and Farm to Market Road 137 and on U. S.
Highway 82/Loop 286 N. E. at Loop 480 and at Loop 469;
and,
(c) Construction on Collegiate Drive from Lamar
Ave to U. S. Highway 271/U. S. Highway 82/Loop 286 N.
E., a distance of approximately 0.6 mile; and
WHEREAS, in order to receive the assistance of the
State Department ot Highways and Public Transportation, it
is necessary that the City Council of the City ot Paris
accept Nlinute Orders covering the above described projects,
being Minute Order Nos. 81169 00013, 81169 00014, and 81169
00015 all passed on August 25, 1983; and,
WHEREAS, it would be in the best interest ot the City
of Yaris to accept said Minute Orders; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
