4dHEREAS, the term of office of Olivia Johnson as member
of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris,
will expire on December 31, 1983; and,
WHEREAS, there exists another vacancy on the membership
of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris
due to the resignation of Skip Steely, and it is necessary
to appoint his successor; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, Joe Graham,
does hereby recommend the appointment of Dorothy Smith, for
a term of two (2) years, beginning Jan.uary 1, 1984, and
ending December 31, 1985; a.nd the appointment of Kyle Perry
to serve the unexpired term of Skip Steely, which ends June
30, 1985; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, that the appointment of Dorothy Smith, for a term of
two (2) years, beginning January 1, 1984, and ending
December 31, 1985 and the appointment of Kyle Perry to serve
the unexpired term of Skip Steely, which ends June 30, 1985;
as members of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City
Paris, be, ana the same are hereby approved and confirmed by
the City Council of the City of Paris.
