2118 RES CITY COUNCIL DID AT REGULAR MEETING ON 13TH DAY OF JULY 1981 APPROVE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSRESOLUTION N0. 2118
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, dTdV~t
its regular meeting on the 13th day of July, 1981, app
the advertisement for bids for the construction of ap85o3~
mately 1,341 square yards of concrete lined channel,
cubic yards of structural concrete for two concrete box
culverts,and miscellaneous items of related work located
along a branch of Big Sandy Creek, east of 17th Street, S.E.,
beginning approximately 100 feet south of East Washington
Street and ending approximately 50 feet south of East Cedar
Street, within the corporate limits of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, which bids were received until 10:00 o'clock
A. M., Wednesday, August 5, 1981; and,
WHEREAS, the best bid for such construction project
was made by David Buster, d/b/a David Buster Construction
Company, Paris, Texas, and he should be awarded tYie contract
for such project; and,
WHEREAS, the form of contract to complete said project
is attached hereto as Exhibit A; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
Paris, That the bid of David Buster, d/b/a David Buster
Construction Company, for the above described construction
work, in the amount of $82,623.40,is hereby accepted and
let, conditioned upon said contractor meeting all of the
terms and specifications included in the bid documents; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City oj'
Paris, Billy Joe Burnett, be, and he is hereby authorized
