2128 RES CITY COUNCIL DETERMINED BEST INTEREST OF CITIZENS OF COP TO ESTABLISH APPRAISAL DISTRICTRESOLUTION N0. 2128
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has
heretofore determined that it is in the best interest of
the citizens of the City of Paris to establish an Appraisal
District for Lamar County and that Appraisal District be
governed by five (5) directors, who would represent all
of the citizens of Lamar County; and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of
the citizens of Paris that the City of Paris cast its
votes for said director for W. T. (Bill) Murphy; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY TIiE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the 985 votes, which the City of Paris is
entitled to cast for persons nominated for the Board of
Directors of the Appraisal District for Lamar County, are
hereby voted for W. T. (Bill) Murphy; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Clerk of the
City of Paris, H. C. Greene, be, and he is hereby directed
to deliver a certified copy of this Resolution and Ballot
No. 2, which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, marked with
985 votes for W. T. (Bill) Murphy, to the County Clerk on
the 13th day of November, 1981.
