RESOLUTION N0. 2135 <br />WHEREAS, Article 4436a-1, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes <br />requires that the Advisory Board of Health of the City of <br />Paris and County of Lamar shall consist of seven (7) members <br />who are resident citizens of Lamar County who have resided <br />within the County for a period of more than three (3) years <br />next preceding the time of their appointments; and, <br />WHEREAS, the terms of office of Mrs. Printis Ellis and <br />William Leon Kelley will expire on December 31, 1981, and <br />it is necessary to replace or re-appoint two persons to fill <br />the vacancies created by the expiration of their terms; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, Billy Joe <br />Burnett, has recommended the appointment of Don R. Massey <br />and the re-appointment of Mrs. Printis Ellis, who continues <br />to be qualified, to serve on said Advisory Board of Health <br />of the City of Paris and County of Lamar, for a term of two <br />(2) years, beginning January l, 1982 and ending December 31, <br />1983; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That Don R. :4assey be appointed and Mrs. Printis <br />Ellis be re-appointed as members to serve on the Advisory <br />Board of Health of the City of Paris and County of Lamar <br />for a term of two (2) years, beginning January l, 1982 and <br />ending December 31, 1983, <br />Passed and adopted this 14th day of December, 1981. <br />Bi y e Burnett, Mayor <br />ATlEST; <br />H.
