2144 RES VACANCY EXISTS ON MEMBERSHIP OF P&Z COMMRESOLUTION N0. 2144
WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership
of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
Paris due to the resignation of Shirley Brigham, and the
term of office of Bruce McMonigle as a member of said
Commission did expire on December 31, 1981, and it is
necessary to appoint their successors, and the Mayor of
the City of Paris, Billy Joe Burnett, having appointed
Olivia Johnson to serve the unexpired term of
Shirley Brigham, which ends December 31, 1983, and
having re-appointed Bruce McMonigle for a term of three
(3) years, beginning January l, 1982 and ending December
31, 1984, and has submitted the names of such persons to
the City Council of the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, that the appointment of Olivia Johnson
to serve the unexpired term of Shirley Brigham, which
ends December 31, 1983, and the re-appointment of Bruce
McMonigle, for a term of three (3) years, beginning
January 1, 1982 and ending December 31, 1984, as members
of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
Paris, are by the City Council of the City of Paris
hereby approved and confirmed.
