2152 RES VACANCY EXISTS ON LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARDRESOLUTION N0. 2152
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Library Advisory
Board due to the untimely death of A. M. Aikin, Jr., and
the Mayor of the City of Paris, Billy Joe Burnett, having
appointed Lonnie Abrahams to serve the reMainder of such
term, and has submitted the name of such person to the
City Council of the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, that the appointment of Lonnie Abrahams to serve
the unexpired term of A. M, Aikin, Jr., which ends June 30,
1983, is by the City Council of the City of Paris hereby
approved and confirmed.
