2162 RES COP SUFFERED EXTENSIVE TORNADO DAMAGE ON 2ND OF APRIL 1982RESOLUTION N0. 2162
WHEREAS, the City of Paris suffered extensive tornado
damage on the 2nd day of April, 1982; and,
WHEREAS, immediate help and assistance was volunteered
by neighboring municipalities; religious and non-profit
organizations and individuals for which the citizens of
Paris and their government is deeply indebted ; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, that all persons and organizations assisting the City
of Paris and its citizens in its time of extreme need be-
ginning on the 2nd day of April, 1982, and continuing to
present, be, and they are hereby gratefully thanked for
their generosity , concern and help.
Passed and adopted this 14th day of April, 1982.
