2169 RES TX POWER & LIGHT CO ON DECEMBER 9 1981 FILED PROPOSED FUEL COST FACTOR TARIFFRESOLUTION N0, 2169
WHEREAS, Texas Power & Light Company, did, on December 9,
1981, file a proposed fuel cost factor tariff for service
within the City of Paris, to become effective January 13,
1982, the operating of which was suspended for a period
of 120 days from January 13, 1982; and,
WHEREAS, Texas Power and Light Company did subsequently
amend its stated intended effective date extending it for a
period of 30 days to February 12, 1982, which had the effect
of extending the suspension period for an additional 30 days
being a total of 150 days; and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the
citizens of Paris that said tariff be suspended for an additional
period of 30 days until July 12, 1982 so that a proposed
settlement agreement regarding the proposed modification to
the fuel cost fact-or rate schedule and procedure of approval
of payment to affiliates can be considered and so that a
public hearing can be conducted, if necessary; and,
WHEREAS, a copy of this resolution has been provided to
Texas Power and Light Company; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
That pursant to Section 43 (d) of the Public Utility Regula-
tory Act, the operation of Texas Power and Light Company's
proposed modified fuel cost factor tariff and procedure for
approval of payments to affiliates is hereby suspended for
an additional period of 30 days from the intended effective
date which suspends the same until July 12, 1982.
