2172 RES COP IS MEMBER OF ARK-TEX COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTSRESOLUTION N0. 2172
WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, is a member
of the Ark-Tex Council of Governments; and,
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Bylaws of the Ark-
Tex Council of Goverments the Board of Directors of same
shall be composed of inembers elected or appointed by
the membership, and,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris is entitled to appoint
three members of the Board of Directors of Ark-Tex
Council of Governments as provided in the Bylaws of the
same; and,
14HEREAS, Joe Graham, Mayor of the City o f Paris,
recommends the appointment by the City Council of the
City of Paris of George Fisher and Don Wilson, to serve
until their successors are duly qualified or installed
or until they become disqualified to so serve; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, that George Fisher and Don Wilson, be, and
they are hereby appointed as members of the Board of
Directors of Ark-Tex Council of Governments, to serve
until their successors are duly qualified or installed,
or until they become disqualified to so serve.
