2174 RES ARTICLE 4436a-1 REQUIRES ADVISORY BOARD TO HAVE 7 MEMBERSRESOLUTION N0. 2174
WHEREAS, ARticle 4436a-1, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes
requires that the Advisory Board of Health of the City of
Paris and County of Lamar shall consist of seven (7) members
who are resident citizens of Lamar County who have resided
w ithin the County for a period of more than three (3) years
next preceding the time of their appointments; and,
WHEREAS, the term of off ice of C. D. McMillan has
expired, and it is necessary to replace or re-appoint a person
to fill the vacancy created by the expiration of his term;
and,
WHE REAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, Joe Graham,
has recommended the re-appointment of C. D. McMillan, who
continues tc, be qualified, to serve on said Advisory Board
of Health of the City of Paris and County of Lamar, for a
term of two (2) years, beginning July l, 1982 and ending
June 30, 1984; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
That C. D. McMillan be re-appointed as a member to serve on
the Advisory Board of Health of the City of Paris and County
of Lamar for a term of two (2) years, beginning July l, 1982
and ending June 30, 1984.
