Saturday in Aprit, 1981, same heing the 4th day of April, 1981, be-
tween the hours of 7:00 o'clock A. M. and 7:00 o`clock P. M. , for

Section 3. The Px-esidin~; Jtadge of the respe,ctive ~roting boxes
shali designate and appoint at teast rwo (2) and not more than four
(4) competent ancl qualifieri clerks f.or such respecti.ve polling places

said election.
Section 4. Such election shall be held in accordance with the
laws of the 5tate of Texas governing general and municipal elections,
insofar as the same rnayr be applicable, and with the provisions of
the City Charter and Urdinanc-es of the Cit_y of Pai is, wherein suckz
laws and ordinances do not contlict with thc above descr. ibeci Urder.
Section S. The Chief of I'alice of the City of Paris is hereby
directed and iiastructed to post a pr-operly executed Notice of Electian
pursuant to this order of electiurl, signed by the Mayor of the City
of Paris and attested bv the Citv Clerk, on tYie bulletin boar. d in the
City Clerk's OEEice, on the bo~axcl provided fot notice at the City E1all
Door, at eaeh of the polling piaces clesignated above, wlii,~:1 are
within ear.h ward in whzch rhe eTectian is to be held, at least twenty
(20) days befare the election; further, a proper-Iy execute(J copy of
such Notice of Election shall be published at least one time not more
than twenty-five (25) daYs nor less than ten (10) davs before the
election in at least one daily newspaper published in the City of Paris,
and a copy of the notice shall be filed with the City Clerk of the
City- of Paris, together with thc; posting ot[icer's return and the
liewspaper certificate of publication.
Section 6. I1ie pay of t:he jLjdges and clerks of said elecrion
is hereby autliarized and establtshed as follows: $3. 00 per• hour for
each judge and clerk; the electian judge w}-io delivers the retur. ns of
said election immediately after the votes have been counted ro the
proper office shall be paid an aadir.ional sum of $20. QO for that sel°-
vice, provided also, he shall make r. eturn of all election supplies not
used when he makes returns of sucli election.
