2087 RES CITY COUNCIL HEREBY TAKES NOTE OF OFFER OF BIARD OIL CO TO DONATE TO COP ONE DAMAGED 1436 GALLON GASOLINE TRANSPORTATION TANKRESOLUTION NO. 2087 ,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris does hereby
take note of the offer of Biard Oil Company to donate to the City
of Paris one damaged 1436 gallon gasoline transportation tank of a
value of $1, 100. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the Paris Fire Department has need for such a
tank for fire training at its Fire Training Area, and it would be
in the best interest of the City of Paris to accept such tank; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the donation by Biard Oil Company, Paris, Texas, of a
damaged 1436 gallon gasoline transportation tank of the value of
$l, 100. 00, be, and the same is hereby accepted with appreciation.
