2090 RES BEEN CALLED TO ATTENTION OF CITY COUNCIL THERE IS AN ALLEY AT EAST BOUNDARY LINE OF 19TH ST NERESOLUTION N0. 2090 ,
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council
of the C.ity of Paris that there is an alley, begfnning at the East
Boundary Line of 19th Street, N. E. , at the South West Corner of
Lot 5, City Block 227C, and the North West Corner of Lot 1, City
Block 227C, being 20 feet wide, and extending in an Easterly direction
approximately 410 feet, more or less, to the West Boundary Line of
20th Street, N. E., and the South East Corner of Lot 3, City Block
227C and the North East Corner of Lot 2, City Block 227C, lying ad-
jacent to the South Boundary Lines of Lots 3, 3A and 5 and adjacent
to the North Boundary Lines of Lots 1, lA, 1B and 2, all in City
Block 227C; and,
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council
that the alley is not desired by the property owners adjacent to said
alley, but that said alley is of use and necessary to the City of Paris
and its citizens for utility easement purposes; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, Michael E. Malone, be,
and he is hereby authorized to execute a quit claim deed of 10 feet
of the 20 foot alley being closed to the adjacent owners on either
side of said alley, it appearing that the real and true owners of the
hereinafter described lots out of City Block 227C are as follows:
Lots l, lA and 1B Robert A. Harty
Lot 2 Greb Construction, Inc.
Lot 3 Charles Greb
Lot 3A Larry J. Greb
Lot 5 Randy Johnson
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City of Par.is retain a
utility easement in the area to be described in the above described
quit claim deeds.
