2065 RES CITY COUNCIL IS CONTEMPLATING ANNEXATION OF AREA LYING BETWEEN EAST CITY LIMIT LINERESOLUTION NO. 2065
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is contemplat-
ing annexation of the area lying between the East City Limit Line
and a branch of Big Sandy Creek, lying between Pine Mill Road and
U. S. Highway 82; and,
WHEREAS, such property is being considered for appropriate
zoning; and,
WHEREAS, some of the tracts of land being considered for
annexation and zoning lie partially within the corporate limits of the
City of Paris, and those portions that lie within the City Limits of
the City of Paris should be considered for appropriate zoning con-
currently with that being considered for annexation; and,
WHEREAS, such property is described on Exhibit A attached
hereto; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CII'Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the property described on Exhibit A attached hereto,
be, and the same is hereby referred to the Planning and Zoning
Commission of the City of Paris for its recommendations concern-
ing appropriate zoning of the same; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a public hearing be held
before the Planning and Zoning Commission concerning said pro-
perty at 7:00 0' clock P. M. , in the City Council Room, City Hall,
Paris, Texas, on the lst day of December, 1980, and that a public
hearing be held before the City Council of the City of Paris at
7:00 o'clock P. M., in the City Council Room, City Hall, Paris,
Texas, on the 8th day of December, 1980.

Beginning at a point in the south right of way line of Pine Mill Road at
its intersection with a line that is 600 feet east of and parallel to the
centerline of the outside lane of Loop 286 N.E., said point being in the
present city limit line;
Thence Southerly with said line that is 600 feet east of and parallel to
the centerline of the outside lane of Loop 286 S.E. approximately 1510 feet
to a point in the north right of way line of U.S. Highway 82;
Thence Westerly with the north right of way line of U.S. Highway 82, approx-
imately 286 feet to the southeast corner of Lot 1, City Block 315;
Thence Northerly with the east line of said Lot 1, City Block 315, 1,021
feet to a point, the northeast corner of said Lot 1;
Thence Westerly with the north line of said Lot l, approximately 190 feet
to a point;
Thence North approximately 492 feet to a point in the South right of way
line of Pine Mill Road;
Thence Easterly with the south right of way line of Pine Mill Road approx-
imately 150 feet to the place of beginning.
