2061 RES PISD CONSTRUCTED ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SOUTH PARKING LOTRESOLUTION NO. 2061
WHEREAS, Paris Independent School District has heretofore
constructed, in accordance with City of Paris street construction
requirements, Aikin Drive, from 30th Street, N. E. , East to Aikin
Elementary School South parking lot; and,
WHEREAS, Paris Independent School District now tenders to
the City of Paris said street and the right of way upon which it is
constructed, described in Exhibit A attached hereto, for public use;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris finds it to be
in the best interest of the citizens of Paris to accept said tender
and to henceforth maintain the same as a public street; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, 1hat Aikin Drive, from 30th Street, N. E. , East to Aikin
Elementary School South parking lot, be, and the same is hereby
accepted, designated and dedicated as a public street of the Cfty
of Paris.
Passed and adopted this 13th day of October, 1980.
