2055 RES CITY COUNCIL DID IN RES NO 1876 ESTABLISHED PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD TO CONSIST OF 9 MEMBERSRESOLUTION N0. 2055 .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Par.is did .in
Resolution No. 1876 establish the Parks and Recreat.ion Board to
consist of nine (9) members, with staggered initial appointments
as follows: Three (3) members for one year terms, three (3)
members for two year terms and three (3) members for three
year terms, and thereafter all appointments to be for three year
terms w.ith partially completed terms be.ing filled for the re-
mainder of said terms; and,
WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of the
Parks and Recreation Board due to the res.ignation of Ross Alsup,
and the Mayor of the City of Paris, M.ichael E. Malone, hav.ing
appointed Mickey Flippen, to serve the unexpired term oE
Ross A lsup, which ends June 30, 1981, and has submitted the
name of such person to the City Council of the C.ity of Paris;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, That the appointment of Mickey Flippen, as a
member of the Parks and Recreation Board, to serve the
unexp.ired term of Ross Alsup, which ends June 30, 1981, is by
the C.ity Council of the City of Paris hereby approved and con-
firmed.
