2030 RES COP IS A MEMBER OF ARK-TEX COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTSRESOLUTION NO. 2030
WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, is a member of
the Ark-Tex Council of Governments; and,
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Bylaws of the Ark-Tex
Council of Governments the Board of Directo.rs of same shall be
composed of inembers elected or appointed by the membership;
a nd,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris is entitled to appoint three
members of the Board of Directors of Ark-Tex Council of
Governments as provided in the Bylaws of the same; and,
WHEREAS, Michael E. Malone, Mayo.r of the City of Paris,
recommends the appointment by the City Council of the City of
Paris of Addie J. Bufford and Kenneth E. I<ohls,
to serve until their successors are duly qualified or installed or
until they become disqualified to so serve; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, That Addie J. BufEord and Kenneth E. Kohls,
be, and they are hereby appointed as members of the Board of
Directors of Ark-Tex Council of Governments, to serve until
their successors are duly qualified or iristalled, or until they
become disqualified to so serve.
