2027 RES CITY COUNCIL AT ITS REGULAR MEETING ON 14TH DAY OF APRIL 1980 APROVED ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSRESOLUTION NO. 2027 ,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did at its
regular meeting on the 14th day of April, 1980, approve the ad-
vertisement for bids for furnishing all plant, labor, material and
equipment, and performing all work required for the construction
of approximately l, 222 linear feet of re.inforced concrete pipe
storm drain of various size pipe, inlets, manholes and miscella-
neous construction items on branch of Big Sandy Creek, along
Pine Bluff Street, 34th Street, N. E. and Robin Road, entitled
34TH STREET N. E. DRAINAGE PROJECT, PHASE II, which bids
were received until 10:00 o'clock A. M., Wednesday, May 7, 1980;
a nd,
WHEREAS, the best bid for such construction project was
made by Heuberger, Inc. , 1430 Church Street, Paris, Texas, 75460,
and it should be awarded the contract for such construction; and,
WHEREAS, the form of contract for such construction project
is attached hereto as Exhibit A, and such form should be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the bid of Heuberger, Inc, for the 34th Street, N. E.
Drainage Project, Phase II, in the amount of $65, 572. 90, is hereby
accepted and let, conditioned upon said contractor meeting all of
the terms and specifications included in the bid documents; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the
City of Paris, Michael E. Malone, be, and he is hereby authorized
and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris the contract
for the 34th Street, N. E. Drainage Project, Phase II, upon the
terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A attached
hereto, with Heuberger, Inc.
