2023 RES CITY COUNCIL CREATED EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE DEPT OF COPRESOLUTION N0. 2023 0
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore
create the Emergency Medical Service Department of the City of
Paris; and,
WHEREAS, such Department has training requirements that
requires the services of a medical adviser; and,
WHEREAS, such medical adviser could also act as liaison
between the medical community and the Emergency Medical Service
Department; and,
WHEREAS, Dr. John Barnett has agreed to serve as such
Medical Adviser; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That Dr. John Barnett, be, and he is hereby appointed
Medical Adviser to the Emergency Medical Service Department of
the City of Paris, to serve until his resignation or the appointment
of his successor, whichever occurs first.
