2013 RES CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZED IN RES NO 1953 EXECUTION OF PIPE LINE LICENSERESOLUTION N0. 2013 ,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore authorize,in Resolution No. 1953,the execution
of a Pipe Line License dated July 5, 1979 with Missouri
Pacific Railroad Company and authorized the payment of
$500.00 for such license; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of changing
the diameter of the pipe lines therein from 12 inches to
14 inches; and,
WHEREAS, such change can be made by the execution of
the Letter Supplement in the form of Exhibit A attached
hereto; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RES~LVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the City Manager of the City of Paris, Robert
t~. Sokoll, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed
to execute on behalf of the City of Paris the Letter
Supplement dated February 13, 1980, executed by T. H.
Miller for Missouri Pacific Railroad Company, in the form
shown on Exhibit A attached hereto.

Dear Mr. Sokoll:
Reference is made to that certain written agreement, dated July 5, 1979, our
No. CA-79077, hereinafter called "Basic Agreement", pursuant to which Missouri Pacific
Railroad Compar~y let and the City of Paris constructed a 12-inch cast iron water line
at Mile Fost 91.94, at Paris, Lamar County, Texas.
We are advised that since the Agreement was issued, it has become nec ssary
to change the line from a 12-inch to a 14-inch line, and that the City desires to
supplement Basic Agreement accordingl,y, to which Missouri Pacific Railroad Company is
agreeable.
Now, therefore, effective January 31, 1980, it is understood and agreed:
l. The portion of the preainble pertaining to the size of the line
shall be changed to read:
continuous line of cast iron pipe, 14 incnes in diameter
2. There shall be deemed attached to Basic Agreement as Exhibit "A"
in substitution for and in lieu of Exhibit "A" now attached to and made
a part thereof, the white print of Texas District's Red River Division,
File No. 116-2294-4, dated January 31, 1980.
This letter is handed you in duplicate. Flease indicate your acceptance by
signing in the space provided and returning the duplicate hereof to the undersigned,
following which this letter shall become a supplement to Basic Agreement, amending same
solely to the extent herein provided. Basic Agreement, as hereby supplemented and amended,
shall remain in force and effect pursuant to the terms and conditions provided therein.
