2008 RES CITY COUNCIL IN RES NO 1741 ESTABLISHED TREE PRESERVATION COMMITTEERESOLUTION N0. Zppg .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore
in Resolution No. 1741 establish a Tree Preservation Committee; and,
WHEREAS, the terms of Porter Smallwood, Jr, as Contractor/
Builder and Wayne Brown as Alternate, Ralph Beard as a Business
Person and Mrs. Leonard Dirks as a Member-at-Large from the
Council of Garden Clubs, expired on December 31, 1979, and the
Mayor of the City of Paris, Michael E. Malone, having re-appointed
such persons to serve on the Tree Preservation Committee for a
term of two (2) years, beginning January l, 1980 and ending
December 31, 1981, and has submitted the names of such persons
to the City Council of the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PA R IS, That the re -appointments of Porter Smallwood, Jr, as
Contractor/Builder and Wayne Brown as Alternate, Ralph Beard as
a Business Person and Mrs. Leonard Dirks as a Member-at-Large
from the Council oE Garden Clubs, on the Tree Preservation
Committee, for a term of two (2) years, beginning January l, 1980
and ending December 31, 1981, be, and the same are hereby
approved and confirmed by the City Council of the City of Paris.
Passed and adopted this 14th ~ay of January, 1980.
