2007 RES CITY COUNCIL IN RES NO 1876 ESTABLISHED PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD TO CONSIST OF 9 MEMBERSRESOLUTION N0. 2007 .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did in
Resolution No. 1876 establish the Parks and Recreation Board to
consist of nine (9) members, with staggered initial appointments
as follows; Three (3) members for one year terms, three (3)
members for two year terms and three (3) members for three
year terms, and thereafter all appointments to be for three year
terms with partially completed terms being filled for the re-
mainder of said terms; and,
WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of
the Parks and Recreation Board due to the resignation of
James L. Bolton, and the Mayor of the City oE Paris,
Michael E. Malone, having appointed Ross Alsup, to serve the
unexpired term of James L. Bolton, which ends June 30, 1981,
and has submitted the name of such person to the City Council
of the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, That the appointment of Ross Alsup, as a member
of the Parks and Recreation Board, to serve the unexpired term
of James L. Bolton, which ends June 30, 1981, is by the City
Council of the City of Paris hereby approved and confirmed.
