2001 RES TERM OF OFFICE OF W R PHILLIPS M D AS CITY HEALTH OFFICER WILL EXPIRE ON DECEMBER 31 1979RESOLUTION N0. 2001 .
WHEREAS, the term of office of W. R. Phillips, M. D. , as
City Health Officer, will expire on December 31, 1979; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary and appropriate that the City
Council of the City of Paris act under the authority granted in
Article 4425, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes, and appoint a
City Health Officer; and,
WHEREAS, the N~ayor of the City of Paris recommends the
appointment of W. R. Phillips, M. D, as City Health Officer for a
two year term, beginning January l, 1980; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That W. R. Phillips, M, D. , be, and he is hereby appointed
to the office of City Health Officer to serve from January l, 1980
through December 31, 1981.
