1908 RES CITY COUNCIL IN RES NO 1820 ESTABLISHED LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD TO CONSIST OF 7 MEMBERSRESOLUTION N0. 1908 .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City o~ Paris did in Resolution
No. 1820 establish the Library Advlsory Board to consist of seven (7~ members,
with staggered initial appointments as follows; Two (2~ members for one year
terms, three (3) members for two year terms and two (2) members for three year
terms, and thereafter all appointments to be for three year terms; and,
WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of ~he Library
Advisory Board due to Herschel McKinney moving from the City of Paris, and
the Mayor of the City of Paris, Michael E. Malone, having appointed Jackie
Alsobrook, to serve the unexpired term of Herschel McKinney, which ends
June 30, 1979, and has submitted the name of such person to the City Council
of the City of Paris; NOGJ, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the
appointment of Jackie Alsobrook, as a member of the Library Advisory Board,
to serve the unexpired term of Herschel McKinney, which ends June 30, 1979,
is by the City Council of the City of Paris hereby approved and confirmed.
