1800 RES CITY COUNCIL IS AWARE OF DRAINAGE PROBLEM IN VICINITY OF 5TH AND 6TH STREETS SERESOLUTION N0. 1800 ,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is aware of
a drainage problem in the vicinity of 5th and 6th Streets, S. E. ,
which necessitates a drainage structure through the Missouri Pacific
Railroad Company right of way; and,
WHEREAS, the said Railroad is agreeable to grant.ing a li-
cense and permission in the furtherance of said drainage project,
upon the terms and conditions and in the form attached hereto as
Exhibit A; and,
WHEREAS, the form of Exhibit A is agreeable to the City of
Paris; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, James M. Brunette, be,
and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the
City of Paris the agreement between the Missouri Pacific Railroad
Company and the City of Paris, upon the terms and conditions and in
the form attached hereto as Exhibit A; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Director of Finance,
H. C. Greene, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to make
available appropriated funds for the payment of all costs agreed to
be paid by the City of Paris under the terms of the above described
agreement.
