1814 RES COP IS A MEMBER OF ARK-TEX COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTSRESOLUTION N0. 1814 ,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, is a member of
the Ark-Tex Council of Governments; and,
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Bylaws of the Ark-Tex
Council of Governments the Board of Directors of same shall be
composed of inembers elected or appointed by the membership; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris is entitled to appoint three mem-
bers of the Board of Directors of Ark-Tex Council of Governments
as provided in the Bylaws of the same; and,
WHEREAS, James M. Brunette, Mayor of the City of Paris,
recommends the appointment by the City Council of the City of Paris
of Walter F. Williams, to serve through May 31, 1978, or until his
successor is appointed, or until he becomes disq~ualified to so serve;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That Walter F. Williams, be, and he is hereby appointed as
a member of the Board of Directors of Ark-Tex Council of
Governments, to serve through May 31, 1978, or until his successor
is appointed, or until he becomes disqualified to so serve,
