1818 RES ARTICLE 4436a-1 REQUIRES ADVISORY BOARD CONSIST OF 7 MEMBERSo~~~,
RESOLUTION N0, 1818 .
WHEREAS, A.rticle 4436a-1 of Vernon's Annotated Civil
Statutes requires that the Advisory Board of Health of the City of
Paris and County of Lamar shall consist of seven (7) members
who are resident citizens of Lamar County who have resided within
the County for a period of more than three (3) years next preced-
ing the time of their appointment; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore in Resolution No.
1705 provide that a doctor of veterinary medicine be appointed an
ex-officio member of the Advisory Board of Health of the City of
Paris and County of Lamar; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, James M.
Brunette, has recommended the appointments of James Deatherage
and Mrs. Robert Norment as members and Wallace E. I<raft as
ex-officio member; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, That appointments to the Advisory Board of Health of
the City of Paris and County of Lamar of James Deatherage and
Mrs. Robert Norment as members, and Wallace E. Kraft as
ex-officio member, for a term ending December 31, 1978, be, and
the same are hereby approved and confirmed by the City Council
of the City of Paris.
