1826 RES CITY COUNCIL RECOGNIZED THE FACT THAT COP HAS NO ORGANIZED VOLUNTEER FIRE FIGHTING UNITRESOLUTION N0, 1826 .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, recognizing
the fact that the City of Paris has no organized volunteer fire
fighting unit performing qualified service as that term is defined
in Section Subsection (1), of Article 6243e. 3, Vernon's Annotated
Civil Statutes, deems it just and proper, that to avoid confusion, to
exercise the option offered in Section 2 of said Ar~icle; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OT
PARIS, That the City of Paris does hereby exercise its option to
exempt itself from the requirements of Article 6243e. 3, which option
is granted in Section 2 thereof.
