1828 RES CITY COUNCIL IN RES NO 1820 ESTABLISHED LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD TO CONSIST OF 7 MEMBERSRESOLUTION N0. 1g28 .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did in
Resolution No, 1820 establish the Library Advisory Board to con-
sist of seven (7) members, with staggered initial appointments as
follows: Two (2) members for one year terms, three (3) members
for two year terms and two (2) members for three year terms, and
thereafter all appointments to be for three year terms; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, James M.
Brunette, does hereby recommend the following for the following
terms:
Don Black one year
Frances Ellis one year
Virginia Gibbs two years
F. D. Mallory, III two years
Herschel McI<inney two years
Pat Bassano three years
David Denney three years
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That initial appointments to the
Library Advisory Board be as follows: Don Black and Frances Ellis
be appointed for terms ending June 30, 1978; that Virginia Gibbs,
F. D. Mallory, III and Herschel McKinney be appointed for terms
ending June 30, 1979; and that Pat Bassano and David Denney be
appointed for terms ending June 30, 1980.
