1835 RES CITY COUNCIL IN RES NO 1797 ACCEPT FAA GRANT OFFERRESOLUTION N0. 1835 ,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore
in Resolution No. 1797 accept I~AA Grant Offer, in the amount of
$145, 884. 00, which became Project No. 6-48-0169-04, which provided
for Phase 2 of "Overlay and Mark Old Portion of Runway 17-35
(4500' x 150')"; and,
WHEREAS, funding is available to expand such project to in-
clude the entire length of Runway 17-35 (6~00' x 150'), and it is to
the best interest of the City of Paris to expand such project by
approving Amendment No. 1 to Grant Agreement for such project, in
the form attached hereto as Exhibit A; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the City of Paris does hereby accept the provisions of
A mendment No. 1 to Grant Agreement for Proj ect No. 6-48 -0169 -04,
a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated
herein for all purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Manager,
Kerry R. Sweatt, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to
execute such amendment on behalf of the City of Paris.

mined it to be in the interest of the United States that the Grant Agreement between the FAA, acting
