1840 RES COP IN RES NO 1692 AUTHORIZED LEASING OF AMUSEMENT PARK AREA OF CULBERTSON PARK TO KENNETH GIFFORDRESOLUTI:ON N0. 1840 ,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris did in Resolution No. 1692 au-
thorize the leasing of the amusement park area of Culbertson Park
to I<enneth Gifford for a term of three (3) years; and,
WHEREA S, Mr, Gifford's performance under said lease has
been satisfactory and he has requested an additional term of five (5)
years with authority to operate said park until 12:00 o'clock midnight;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, James M. Brunette,
be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf
of the City of Paris the lease between the City of Paris and I<enneth
Gifford, attached hereto as Exhibit A, for a term beginning
December l, 1977 and ending November 30, 1982.
