1860 RES JAMES M BRUNETTE SERVED COP AS MAYOR FROM MAY 13, 1974 TO APRIL 12, 1978RESOLUTION N0. 1860 ,
WHEREAS, James M. Brunette did serve the City of Paris as
its Mayor from May 13, 1974 to April 12, 1978; and,
WHEREAS, James M, Brunette did serve as Councilman at
Large from April l~, 1973 to April ~4, 1976, and as Councilman
From Ward Six (6) from April 14, 1976 to April 12, 1978; and,
WHEREAS, Councilman Brunette, while serving as Mayor, has
been a willing and able spokesman for the City of Paris; and,
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that James M. Brunette be
remembered for his service as Councilman and Mayor of the City
of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That James M. Brunette, be, and he is hereby commended
for his outstanding service as Mayor and Councilman of the City of
Paris, and that we do here and now extend to him our best wishes
for his future welfare and our request for his continued interest in
the future of the City of Paris.
