1864 RES VACANCY EXISTS ON MEMBERSHIP OF FIREMEN'S AND POLICEMEN'S CIVIL SERVICE COMM DUE TO ELECTION OF JAMES W FARRISRESOLUTION N0. 1864 ,
WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of the
Firemen's and Policemen's Civil Service Commission of the City of
Paris due to the election of James W. Farris to the City Council,
and the City Manager of the City of Paris, Robert W. Sokoll, having
appointed C. D. Hilburn to serve the unexpired term of James W.
Farris which ends December 31, 1979, and has submitted the name
of such person to the City Council of the City of Paris; NOW, THERE-
FORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the appointment of D. Hilburn, as a member of the
Firemen's and Policemen's Civil Service Commission of the City of
Paris, to serve the unexpired term of James W. Farris which ends
December 31, 1979, is by the City Council of the City of Paris hereby
approved and confirmed.
