1866 RES ARTICLE 4436a-1 REQUIRES ADVISORY BOARD OF HEALTH CONSIST OF 7 MEMBERSRESOLUTION N0. 1866 .
WHEREAS, Article 4436a-1 of Vernon's Annotated Civil
Statutes requires that the Advisory Board of Health of the City of
Paris and County of Lamar shall consist of seven (7) members
who are resident citizens of Lamar County who have resided within
the County for a period of more than three (3) years next preced-
ing the time of their appointments; and,
WHEREAS, the term of office of C. D, McMillan will expire
on June 30, 1978, and it is necessary to replace or re-appoint a
person to fill the vacancy created by the expiration of his term; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, Michael E. Malone,
has recommended the re-appointment of C. D. McMillan, who con-
tinues to be qualified, to serve on said Advisory Board of Health of
the City of Paris and County of Lamar, for a term of two (2) years,
beginning July l, 1978 and ending ~une 30, 1980; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That C. D. McMillan be re-appointed as a member to serve
on the Advisory Board of Health of the City of Paris and County of
Lamar for a term of two (2) years, beginning July l, 1978 and end-
ing June 30, 1980.
