1869 RES JIM A MILES AND SPENCER ABBETT RESIGNED AS MEMBERS OF P&Z COMMRESOLUTI~N N0, 1869 .
WHEREAS, Jim A. Mi1es and Spencer Abbett have resigned as
members of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris,
and the term of office of James E. Lynch as a member of said
Commission will expire on June 30, 1978, and it is necessary to ap-
point their successors, and the Mayor of the City of Paris, Michael
E. Malone, having appointed F r e d d y S w a i m, to serve the unex -
pired ~erm of Jim A. Mi1es, which terminates June 30, 1980, and
J e r r y J o h n s o n, to serve the unexpired term of Spencer Abbett,
which terminates December 31, 1980, and having re-appointed
J a m e s E. L y n c h, for a term of three (3) years, beginning July l,
1978 and ending June 30, 1981, and has submitted the names of such
persons to the City Council of the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the appointments of F r e d d y S w a i m, to serve the
unexpired term of Jim A. Miles, which terminates June 30, 1980, and
J e r r y J o h n s o n, to serve the unexpired term of Spencer Abbett,
which terminates December 31, 1980, and the re-appointment
of J a r~ e s E. L y~ c h, for a term of three (3 ) years, beginning
July l, 1978 and ending June 30, 1981, as members of the Planning
and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris, are by the City Council
of the City of Paris hereby approved and confirmed.
