1872 RES CITY COUNCIL AT ITS COUNCIL MEETING ON 8TH DAY OF MAY 1978 APPROVED ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSRESOLUTION N0. 1g72 ,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did at its
Council Meeting on the 8th day of May, 1978, approve the adver -
tisement for bids for Agricultural Lease, Cox Field, in accordance
with detailed specifications, which bids were received until 10:00
o'clock A. M. , Wednesday, June 7, 1978; and,
WHEREAS, the best bid f.or said agricultural lease was made
by Loma Alta Ranch, and it should be awarded the lease, upon can-
cellation of the lease heretofore entered into between the City of
Paris and Agpro, Inc. ; and,
WHEREAS, the form of such lease is attached hereto as
E~ibit A; NOW, THEREFOR~,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the bid of Loma Alta Ranch for the Agricultural Lease,
Cox Field, in the amount of $2, 750. 00 for each of the first 3 years
of the primary term and $3, 300. 00 per year for the five year option,
is hereby accepted and let, and the lease heretofore entered into be-
tween the City of Paris and Agpro, Inc, is hereby cancelled; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Manager of the
City of Paris, Robert W. Sokoll, be, and he is hereby authorized
and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris, the agricul-
tural lease with Loma Alta Ranch for Cox Field, upon the terms
and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A attached hereto.
