1878 RES CITY COUNCIL IN SPECIAL EMERGENCY SESSION DEEMED IT IN BEST INTERST OF PARIS TO CONTINUE STATE OF EMERGENCY BECAUSE WATER DEPT IS UNABLE TO MEET WATER DEMANDSRESOLUTION N0. 1878 .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, in special
emergency session convened, does hereby deem it in the best in-
terest of the citizens of Paris to continue the state of emergency
due to the fact that the Water I~partment of the City of Paris is
unable to meet the water demands of its customers; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it advisable to exercise
the emergency powers established in Section 31-30 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, That outside useage of City of Paris water be pro-
hibited beginning 12:01 P, M, on the l~th day of July, 1978, be-
tween the hours of 12:01 P. M, and 11:59 P. M, with odd address
numbers being permitted such limited outside watering on odd
numbered calendar days and even address numbers being per-
mitted such limited outside watering on even numbered calendar
days.
