1883 RES COP HAS BEEN WITHOUT CITY HEALTH OFFICER SINCE DECEMBER 1971RESOLUTION N0. 188~ ,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris has been without a City Health
Officer since December, 1971; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary and appropriate that the City
Council of the City of Paris act under the authority granted in
Article 4425, Vernon's Annotated Texas Statutes, and appoint a
City Health Officer; and,
WHER~AS, the Mayor of the City of Paris recommends the
appointment of W. R, Phillips, M. D, as City Health Officer through
D e c e m b e r 31, 19~9; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That W. R. Phillips, M. D. , be, and he is hereby appointed
to the office of City Health Officer to serve through December 31,
1979.
