1884 RES CITY COUNCIL IN RES NO 1876 ESTABLISHED PARKS AND RECREATION BOARDRESOLUTION N0. 1884 ,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did in
Resolution No. 1876 establish the Parks and Recreation Board to
consist of nine (9) members, with staggered initial appointments
as follows: Three (3) members for one year terms, three (3)
members for two year terms and three (3) members for three
year terms, and thereafter all appointments to be f~r three year
terms with partially completed terms being filled for the remainder
of said terms; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, Michael E.
Malone, does hereby recommend the following for the following
terms:
Jim Steely one year
Dolores Hayter one year
David Thomas one year
David Don Guest two years
Ozie Battle two years
Mike Reinhardt two years
Julann Boatner three years
James L. Bolton three years
Robert High three years
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That initial appointments to the
Parks and Recreation Board be as follows: Jim Steely, Dolores
Hayter and David Thomas be appointed for terms ending June 30,
1979; that David Don Guest, Ozie Battle and Mike Reinhardt be
appointed for terms ending June 30, 1980; and that Julann Boatner,
James L. Bolton and Robert High be appointed for terms ending
June 30, 1981.
Passed and adopted this 14th day of August, 1978.
