1887 RES CITY COUNCIL AT ITS REGULAR MEETING ON 14TH DAY OF AUGUST 1978 APPROVED ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSRESOLUTION N0. 1887 , WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did at its regular meeting on the 14th day of August, 1978 approve the ad- vertisement for bids for the sale of two pieces of property de- scribed as Tract 1 and Tract 2 on Exhibit A attached hereto, which bids were received until 10:00 o'clock A. M. , Wednesday, September 6, 1978; and, WHEREAS, the highest bid by responsible bidder for Tract 1 was Paris Coca Cola Bottling Company in the amount of $30,100. 00 and for Tract 2 was James Thompson in the amount of $l, 050. 00; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the bid of Paris Coca Cola Bottling Company, in the amount of $30,100. 00, for Tract l, conditioned upon appropriate zoning, and the bid of James Thompson, in the amount of $1, 050. 00, for Tract 2, are hereby accepted and let; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, Michael E. Malone, be, and he is hereby authorized and di- rected to execute deeds on behalf of the City of Paris to convey Tract 1 to Paris Coca Cola Bottling Company and Tract 2 to James Thompson; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That Tract 1 is hereby re- ferred to the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris for its recommendation as to appropriate zoning of Tract 1 described on Exhibit A attached hereto, so that the same may be used by Paris Coca Cola Bottling Company in conj unction with its operation.
