1889 RES CITY COUNCIL AT ITS REGULAR MEETING ON 14TH DAY OF AUGUST 1978 APPROVED ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSRESOLUTION N0. 1889 ,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did at its
regular meetin~ on the 14th day of August, 1978, approve the ad-
vertisement for bids for inspection, furnishing, installation and
replacing all worn or defective parts and devices inclu~ed in the
instrumentation system in the City of Paris Water Treatment faci-
lities an~ for complete maintenance on an annual basis, which bids
were received until 10:00 o'clo~k A, M. , Wednesday, September 6,
1978; and,
WHEREAS, the best bid for the instrumentation project and
for the maintenance of the same therea fter was made by
Honeywell Inc., an~~ each of said bids were accepted and let by
the City Council of the City of Paris at its Council Meeting on the
llth day of September, 1978; and,
WHEREAS, the form of contract to complete the instrumen-
tation pro~ect is attached hereto as Exhibit A, and the form of
contract for complete maintenance on an annual basis is attached
hereto as Exhibit B; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, That the City Manager of the City of Paris, Robert W.
Sokoll, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute on
behalf of the City of Paris the contract for the above described
instrumentation project, in the amount of $22,100. 00, upon the
terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A attached
hereto, and the contract for the above described annual mainte-
nance, in the amount of $13, 355. 00, upon the terms and conditions
and in the form shown in Exhibit B attached hereto, each with
Honeywell Inc.
